Green Dot Peer Advocates
Do you love EKU Green Dot?! Want to get more involved in promoting violence prevention?? Then apply to become a Green Dot Peer Advocate today!!
Green Dot Peer Advocates are student ambassadors and peer educators for the EKU Green Dot program. Those selected to join the Green Dot Peer Advocates will be asked to represent the Green Dot program at events across campus. Green Dot Peer Advocates also serve as the peer educators for the Green Dot program on bystander intervention, consent education, and the topics of stalking, dating/domestic/intimate partner violence and sexual violence/assault. As a Green Dot Peer Advocate, you will gain valuable experience and skills including:
- Public speaking experience as well as cultivating your presentation and motivational speaking skills.
- Planning, organizing, and executing awareness-raising events related to the mission of Green Dot
- Participating in community-building among university and community partners
Applications are due by September 28, 2018 by 5:00 pm.
The Green Dot Coordinator and Program Specialist will review applications and select eligible applicants to interview by October 12, 2018.
