Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month! Domestic Violence includes physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional/psychological abuse, stalking, financial abuse, and academic abuse. At EKU Green Dot, we know a significant portion of our EKU community, those students and employees ages 16 to 24, are at a greater risk of experiencing this type of power-based personal violence. According to Break the Cycle, "Nearly three out of four Americans personally know someone who is or has been a victim of domestic violence." This October join EKU Green Dot to raise awareness and support survivors. See the list of events below to get involved.
